The TC can be independent, so the brokerage is not responsible for paying the per file fee. In fact, most of our agents pass along our fee to the buyer or seller as a transaction fee. This way new agents feel supported, have the help they need making sure each document is completed and done completely, no deadlines are missed, etc and it doesn’t cost them anything to have this help.
