CE shop is the bottom of the barrel. Good for CE, but as low as a 22% passage rate around the time this article was written.

Hi Sharon –

Sorry to hear you’re struggling! Have you given another company’s test-prep materials a try? We love the Mbition test prep materials for AZ.

I have studied so hard, I feel the tests are out dated. I scored an average of 87-95 on the exams and I FAILED TWICE on my state exam! I am desperatley looking for something more updated to help me pass the state exam.

I took the online “course” and completed it in November, 2020. I got a computer generated certificate with only my online username. In December, 2020, I failed my Arizona exam by 6 points. I have documentation to prove same. The questions and information from this course were VERY outdated. There is no phone number, physical address, or direct email for contact for $39 refund. They state on their website that they have a pass guarantee https://www.realestateexamscholar.com/pass-dont-pay-guarantee/. Nobody ever replies to the contact form despite multiple attempts. The chat on the website is a bot limited to FAQ on the site only. Your login no longer works to contact them for anything after course completion. The only “reviews” for this course online are paid or “testimonials” on their site. The WHOIS info for the website leads to an anonymous internet service provider based in Canada. They have other offerings like appraisalexamscholar.com with the same garbage. It is offered in all USA states. THIS IS A SCAM!

It will NOT prepare you to pass the state exam. There is NO instructor. It is just very rudimentary software with poorly written curriculum that you are paying for. After my 90 hours I was informed by the software that the course did not prepare me to pass the exam and that I need to write a study guide, essentially write my own course, and study like a mad-crazy fool, outside their purview, in order to pass the exam. Furthermore, they will not give you the certificate (in other words, credit for taking the class and gaining the 90 hours) unless you hire a proctor and pass the exam (making it look like THEY prepared you to pass it, when in fact, you had to learn everything on your own AFTER investing 90 hours in their “course”).

Hi Will –

I am not sure on this one, you’ll need to speak to the Arizona Department of Real Estate on this one. The rules for a broker’s license are different, so I wouldn’t want to point you in the wrong direction.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Steve –

Thanks for your question. AZ is a bit of a tough state for RE education, but there are definitely some good options out there. For your situation, I’d suggest The CE Shop. They are going to provide you with all the tools you need to be successful, and with the history you have in the RE industry, this is definitely going to feel more like a refresher course for you, so you should be able to get through the material pretty easily.

Good Luck!

Chris
