What’s the best way to find and target renters?

Thanks for the question. The short answer is, keep looking! Despite the economic headwinds, there is still very strong buyer demand. Remember, people will always need a place to live. If I were you, I would consider targeting existing renters who are financially ready to move up to ownership but are either uneducated about their options or spooked by what they see on the news without really knowing how it affects them personally.

Thanks for the question. The most likely 1031 exchange buyer is someone who is already active in the real estate investment space. If I were you, I would look to anyone who already has commercial-use property for sale. Since a 1031 exchange is essentially the transfer of value from one property to another, those who already have property for sale would be good candidates since they have value they’re already looking to unload.
