Career Path Academy should be on this list offering more for less and are flexible with when you attend even though you have to finish the 75 hour requirement. The instructors are awesome and it costs less than any school on this list. Day, Evening, Weekend class options available, you have 6 months to complete the course, the book and 2 exam attempts included with additional 2 attempts for $20 and an additional 6 month extension available for an additional $100. All the instructors materials are made available to students along with math how to, slide shows, video recordings of the class for review, sample quizes, personal Q&A and you can ask questions and advice even after you’ve graduated. There is no limit on exam attempts requiring you to retake the class or pay for that other scam stuff schools often pull. I’m the director of the school so can tell you first hand.

I work for and attended the Terrie O’Connor Real estate school in Ramsey, NJ (Bergen County) and the hands on personal training is five stars and should absolutely be on this list!

Ok but are you sure you didn’t recieve any compenastation from anyone for this because I am getting pop ups on this site for the schools? I dont think you should have picked more schools, I’m saying you didn’t attend all of them to come up with a true list of the “best”. I’m glad you were a little more transparent in your answer than you were with this this because you do say that you came up with this list after you elimiated some schools to fit what schools you wanted like you should have at the top of this article like “disclaimer – didn’t attend or consider all schools”. Like Kyle Kovats said that you didn’t even consider him but you included Center for Real estate which is owned by authur anderson and Garden state academy which is owned by Keller williams. Im just saying be transparent about your list – only choose certain schools because of this that and the other thing and if you got compensated. My friend saw this ad and was annoyed because she didn’t want a broker owned school and you have to in your list but don’t say that.

Hi Aimee –

Thanks for the comment. It’s true, we didn’t attend every single class of every single school; the amount of time necessary there isn’t realistic for producing this sort of content. However, I can tell you, we got access to these platforms, spoke with former students, and did a fair amount of independent research to come up with our list. The Close operates completely editorially independent, which means schools or partners we have affiliate agreements with have no say in who we choose.

There were a couple of ground rules we set when determining who we chose, including not using brokerages who offered classes (like Weichert), or classes where enrollment in a larger institution (like Temple) was necessary. Also, there’s only so many slots on a guide like this before it becomes unhelpful for readers (a best-for guide with 20 entries isn’t much of a best-for guide).

The long and the short of it is, we work hard to find answers to our readers’ questions. We welcome comments and suggestions; our best list might not align with your best list, and that’s ok! Keep the conversation coming!

This seems like a paid advertisement for these schools. Some serious heavy hitters are missing from this list: Kovats, Weichert, The Real Estate School, Temple just to name a few. I doubt you attended the class at every single school in NJ to come up with a list of the “best”. I think you are basing this on what strangers on the internet say.

It was very well written and really hit the nail on the head for our school.
